Arrow Pharmacy has operated in Hartford, Connecticut since 1989. For over three decades, the pharmacy has focused on the kind of service a large chain generally doesn't offer: pharmacists who recognize your voice on the phone, same-day answers about your medications, and a willingness to chase down a manufacturer coupon or a prior authorization on your behalf.
Today, Arrow Pharmacy operates from a single location, at 500 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT 06105, in the city's West End. The pharmacy also partners with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center on discharge medication delivery through our Meds to Go program; the Farmington Avenue storefront remains the pharmacy's current and only retail location.
What we do
- Prescription dispensing and refills — new prescriptions, transfers from other pharmacies, and easy refill requests online or by phone.
- Immunizations — seasonal flu, shingles, pneumonia, and other vaccines administered by our pharmacists.
- Custom compounding — medications prepared to a specific strength, dosage form, or formulation when a commercial product doesn't fit a patient's needs.
- Free local delivery — next-day delivery across the greater Hartford area for patients who can't get to the store.
- Patient assistance navigation — help identifying manufacturer and state programs that reduce out-of-pocket drug costs.
- Durable medical equipment — everyday mobility aids, monitors, and home health supplies available in-store.
Our pharmacists
Arrow Pharmacy is led by Angelo DeFazio, R.Ph., President and CEO, and staffed by licensed Connecticut pharmacists Jill St. Germain, PharmD, AAHIVP, Sabrina Griswold, Pharm.D., Darcey Melnyk, and Christine Manzi, RPh. Every prescription is reviewed by a licensed pharmacist before it reaches you.
